Latest Family Member

I would like to introduce the newest member of the family, Savannah! She's a white-lab mix that Laurisa and I picked her up from the Animal Orphanage tonight. We first saw her on Saturday as Laurisa tried to coax this shy dog out of the outside run. It turns out she was brought there by her owner who actually lives right across the street from me on Friday. Apparently he travels a lot with his job and not being around caused stress on her and he thought it was in the best interest of the dog to bring it in to find a new home. She hadn't eaten in days and was very thin. She has filled in since Saturday and is a little less timid. Cajun and her met tonight and got along fine. Cajun wanted to run all around and she just kind of looked at him like he was crazy. They did run together after a while and she was following him around. They got along and that was the last hurdle to bringing her home so home she came!
