Posted On August 22, 2007 8:25 AM By Phil in Flash,Adobe,Flex,CFUG,AIR,ColdFusion
Today the onAIR Bus Tour stops in Philly. I hope to see everyone there from the Flash, Flex, and ColdFusion user groups to represent the Adobe community in Philly.
Philly CFUG is on for tomorrow!
Posted On March 12, 2007 10:16 AM By Phil in Adobe,CFUG,General,ColdFusion
From the manager email:
Meeting Information
Date: March 13, 2007 @ 5:00 PM
Adam Lehman on building Flex applications powered by ColdFusion. A two-hour can't-miss talk!
Plan on skipping out early tomorrow for some free high-intensity ColdFusion training as Adam Lehman from Adobe rolls in to town to speak on building Flex apps powered by ColdFusion! After the excitement of 360Flex it's time to settle down and learn how, as ColdFusion geniuses, we can integrate pieces of Flex in our apps to improve user experience. It's not everyday we are able to host a speaker from Adobe so PLEASE come out and help make a strong showing for the Philly market!
Parking is available at 18th and Arch, though as always we recommend using mass transit whenever possible. Starbucks is on the ground floor for any caffeine junkies planning on attending, plus we'll have the usual soda and pizza for a light (read: not good for you) snack/dinner.
Location: 1801 Market Street 15th Floor
I hope the room is full with everyone from Philly's CF Community. Go here to register. I'll be going, taking Patco in from Jersey. See ya there!
MAX Registration is open.

You can now register and view the sessions at Adobe's Max. I probably won't be going unless I can swing another conference out of work. Oh well, I guess I'll go to next year's Max since I most likely won't be allowed to go to CFUnited since it'll be too close to the big day.
MAX '06 in Vegas Baby! Vegas!
Posted On June 9, 2006 5:50 AM By Phil in Adobe
Adobe announced yesterday that MAX 2006, the main confenerence for developers, designers, and IT professionals for Adobe products, will be held in Las Vegas the October 23-26. I have only been to one MAX, in New Orleans, but this is a good conference, particularly with exposure to products that you may not use on a regular basis. It is a chance to expand your knowledge of Adobe's product line and as we all know, that's alwasy a good thing.
Adobe Developer Week
Posted On May 22, 2006 12:26 PM By Phil in Adobe,Flex,ColdFusion
Adobe is having a series of 1-hour seminars the week of June 12-16. There are a number of seminars on Flex, RIAs, and ColdFusion. I have signed up for the Building Killer Desktop RIAs, Building ColdFusion Powered Flex Applications, and ColdFusion and Model-Glue. I'm excited for the Model-Glue one as Joe Rinehart will be given a quick preview of version 2.0, Unity, during the course of the seminar.
